The story of Yeh Hai Chahatein serial begins with the death of a girl during childbirth and after that, her sister was the only person who took care of that baby. DR. Preesha was her sister and she started to take care of her nephew, Saransh. Preesha was an unmarried lady and stayed busy in her life but after that, she started to take care of that baby. A famous Indian rockstar, Rudraksh aka Rudra became famous in those days. Rudra was the uncle of Saransh and when he came to know about it he contacts with that boy. Saransh was the only owner of all the worth of his father and for that, a lot of people wanted that from him. Preesha takes care of him and protects him from these greedy people. Rudra and Preesha then take care of Sarah together.

For that sake, she wanted back Saransh. Preesha and Rudra were very happy that she came back but when they came to know about the reality they wanted to protect Saransh from her.
For that sake, they tried their best to take the way from Saransh. After some years, Saransh grew up and knew about all the things about her mother and then came back to Preesha and Rudra. On the other hand, Preesha and Rudra decided to marry each other and got married, and they adopted Saransh as their child. His mother Mahima produced many hurders in their lives to take revenge because she thought that they were the reason for all of this. She created many misunderstandings between Preesha and Rudra.
