The story of this serial revolves around the life of a simple and kind-hearted village girl, Lakshmi. All the villagers believe Bhagya Lakshmi she was very lucky because on the day of her birth they first time enjoyed water supply to their village and many other things. A famous businessman Rishi Oberoi was the owner of a construction company and her mother was a hard woman but believed in magic and fate.
Their company ran into loans day by day and for that, she went to her believers who advised her to arrange a marriage of her son with a lucky girl. For that sake, she convenes her son to marry Lakshmi for only one year because he already has a girlfriend and they are loyal to each other. After that, she went to that village to take the hand of Lakshmi for her son because she believed that she brought good luck to them.
